UNWORTHY HEART

2D ANIMATION

When the world slips out of focus under the strobe of red and blue, a heart of glass begins to crack in arrhythmic convulsions. Within, blood gathers and coalesces, striving to take human form.

Before it lies an all-consuming tide of crimson, where heartbeats skyrocket as wings tear through the scapulae. The blood-red sun, sinking from the sky, drowns into struggling silhouettes the moment it meets the sea's cold embrace. Footprints on the shore lead into the abyss—each step a fresh fracture, a final tremor of the shattering heart.

This is not a rescue, but a synchronized visual pulse of internal collapse. A failed experiment conducted in the liminal space between pure white reason and utter black nihilism. Feel it—where every misplaced beat echoes with a silent scream.

As a digital artist at the intersection of 3D animation and dynamic visuals, my work extends across animated film, experimental video, and wearable art. I specialize in leveraging technology to construct visual narratives that carry philosophical inquiry. Whether collaborating or working solo, my projects aim to interrogate pressing themes such as technological ethics, memory, and identity. I hold a firm belief that truly resonant work is grounded in profound human insight and exists to foster humanistic reflection.

This project uses 3D animation to imagine a future where people worship AI and smart machines as gods. It shows a world where computer code becomes the new scripture and system updates are like sacred rituals. The work asks a tough question: in chasing after this "techno-divine," are we ultimately making ourselves obsolete?

Urbanization has led to the upcoming demolition of old houses in Suzhou's Shadow Garden, where some people once lived.Once demolished, former residents will no longer find traces of their past when recalling memories. As a Suzhou native with childhood garden memories, I created this project to explore urban evolution and the disappearance of "home" culture.

Compelled by the encroaching oceans to imitate the very marine life they once sought to rule, humans enter a new chapter of existence. In this act of technological mimicry—be it through bionic respiration or engineered ecosystems—lies the ultimate exposure: the failure of their project of domination, laid bare by their own dependency on the blueprint they could never perfect.
